The Wifes favorite drink

Ok, I know this may be odd, but I can post more, but this originally being put up simply so I have a place to store it since I'm not at home and I don't want to lose the paper to write it on.

It is good tho.

Mocha Martini
1 1/2 shots coffee liqueur
1 shot Creme da Cocao
1 shot vanilla vodka (regular vodka for a stronger taste)
1 shot half-and-half

You can also add I shot of espresso (we just use left over coffee)

Combine in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, strain, and serve.
Cheers!

1 Peter 5:6-7

You know, as much as a male, Marine, deviant as I am, I am at heart a Christian and from time too time I find scripture that really talks to me. Much like this one.

The wife and I are hitting some tough times with the state of our economy. Businesses are expanding around us yet ours are stagnant. We've noticed the hit in our client base.

This scripture really hit home as I ponder the future and deal with the worries of where we'll be heading in the months to come.

*~
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you"
~*

Outside of the obvious, I notice also that it says "under Gods mighty hand". Under being the key word. God uses His hand to lift us up out of our trials, but until that time comes, Gods hand also PROTECTS us and SHELTERS us from the troubles that come during those trials. I need only to stay under his hand of shelter and protection and not be impatient and move out from under it. If I move then it makes it that much farther to get back to where I need to be when its time to be lifted up.
