Beer Bread

3 cups flour (sifted)
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 (12 ounce) can/bottle beer
1/4 cup butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Mix dry ingredients, sifting flour.
Mix in beer.
Pour into a greased loaf pan
Pour melted butter over top of of mixture in loaf pan.
Bake for 45-50 (may need 1 hour depending on oven)
Remove from pan, let cool 10-15 minutes before serving.

If you want a softer crust, don't pour butter over the top of mixture, rather mix in with ingredients.
